Who Should Have Manager Seats

Manager Seats are for:

  • Sales managers who run 1:1s
  • Team leads who coach reps directly
  • Anyone who needs full SMVue coaching capabilities

How Managers Get Started

Managers can enter SMVue in two ways:

  • Standalone manager signup: choose the individual manager path during onboarding, connect a CRM, and set up the manager workspace that holds your team's sales book.
  • Executive organization invitation: when a sales executive chooses the executive persona, they first create the sales organization and receive a free Executive seat. From the Invite your team step, the executive can invite a sales manager. Accepting that invitation creates the manager's own workspace, links it to the executive's organization, grants the manager a paid Manager seat as workspace owner, and sends the manager straight to CRM-connect onboarding.

In the executive organization path, the manager is not added as a member of the executive's oversight workspace. Each invited manager owns a separate manager workspace for their team, and that workspace rolls up to the executive organization for cross-manager visibility.

How Many Manager Seats Do I Need?

Solo: 1 Manager seat (you) Team: 1+ Manager seats (purchase additional as needed)

Rule of Thumb: One Manager seat per person who coaches sales reps.
